Like a thunder on a clear day, we were devastated when Joan was diagnosed with a Brain tumour, on December 30th 2007. Throughout the period when Joan was operated and got her radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatments, she kept her optimism and kept telling us that she will get out of this. But, the illness was stronger and on the afternoon of March 26th, 2009, 15 months after she was diagnosed, Joan passed away leaving us with endless moments of joy and happiness that we will carry in our hearts for ever.
